I would like to send you our teenage programme for 2010. We have a wonderful programme which I hope you will like. Below is a sample of what every week will be like for June, July and September.

This year we have activities arranged for the evenings also as the days are long and bright. In this way the students are always occupied and supervised.

The students will do English classes every morning, and after a pack lunch they will do a range of activities including tennis, archery, golf, horse-riding, guitar and tin-whistle classes, trips to places of interest as well as bowling, trips to the cinema etc. Activities will depend on the weather and the interest of the group as a whole.

The evening activities will also depend on the weather and the choice of the students, but this is an example of a week’s activities:

1. The sports evenings include tennis (bring your racket), basketball, hurling, rounders and athletics.
2. The disco is organized for the students in the rugby club in Gorey and each student will be picked up by their families at 22:30. There will be a non-alcoholic bar.
3. On Sundays the students stay with their families. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice lots of English and to enjoy the company of he family.
4. It is the responsibility of parents to book the students flights. Students are free to arrive on any day of the week and they will be collected and brought back to the airport. Our nearest airport is Dublin. Flights are available at www.aerlingus.ie or www.ryanair.com. If your child needs to be accompanied on his/her flight, you have the choice of using Air France and fly through Paris or accompany them yourself and fly back on the same day.
5. Students stay in families specially chosen by us. The families will cook for your child, supply all bedclothes and towels and will do your child’s washing.
6. The students must agree to bide by the rules of the school. They must show respect for everybody they meet and in turn respect will be shown to them.
7. If the student has any problem while in Ireland they can talk to Avril or their host family anytime.

The cost of the course is €600.00 per week. This price includes:

• Transfers to/from the airport
• Full-board accommodation with a family
• A full programe as outlined above: English classes, afternoon and evening activities and full day trips on Saturdays
• All teaching materials
• A certificate  and report at the end of the course

Benvenuto  2010

Vorrei darvi il nostro programma per ragazzi per 2010. Abbiamo un programma bellissimo che spero  vi piaccia. Qui sotto c’e’ un esempio del programma per ogni settimana di giugno, luglio e settembre. Quest’anno abbiamo organizzato attivita’anche per la sera perche’ i giorni sono lunghi e pieni di luce. In questo modo gli studenti sono sempre impegnati e c’e’ sempre qualcuno con loro. Gli studenti seguiranno I corsi d’inglese ogni mattina e dopo un pranzo al sacco participeranno in varei attivita’ come tennis, tiro con arco, golf, equitazione, chitarra, flauto irlandese, in piu’ gite in posti culturali, bowling, cinema ecc. La scelta delle attivita’ dipende dal tempo e anche dalla scelta del gruppo.  Anche l’attivita’seriale dipende  dal tempo e dal gruppo, ma qui c’e’ l’esempio di una settimana tipo:   

 Commenti: 

1. Le serate sportive comprendono tennis (porta la rachetta), basket, hurling (un giocho irlandese), rounders (come baseball) e atletica.
2. La discoteca e’ organizzata per gli studenti del circolo di rugby di Gorey e ogni studente sara’ accompagnato a casa con dalla propria famiglia alle 22:30. Il bar non serve bevande alcoliche.
3.  Le domeniche gli studenti restano con le loro famiglie. La domenica e’ una bella opportunita’ per conoscere meglio la famiglia  e per praticare l’inglese.
4. É  responsabilita’ dei genitori prenotare i voli. Gli studenti possono arrivare qualsiasi giorno della settimana. Verranno presi in aeroporto il giorno del loro arrivo e accompagnati il giorno del partenza. Il nostro aeroporto piu’ vicino e’ Dublino. Voli diretti sono disponibili sul sito: www.aerlingus.com o www.ryanair.com. Se lo studente deve essere accompagnato al volo si puo’ prenotare un volo via Parigi con Air France o puo’ accompagnarlo qualcuno in famiglia e tornare in Italia lo stesso giorno.
5. Gli studenti vivono con famiglie che sono scelte da noi. Queste famiglie cucinano per lo studente, gli forniscono lenzuola e asciugamani e si occupano anche del suo bucato.
6. Gli studenti devono rispettare le regole della nostra Scuola. Esistono per la loro sicurezza. Devono avere rispetto per tutti coloro che incontreranno e in questo modo rispetto verra’ mostrato a loro.
7. Se lo studente ha qualsiasi problema qui in Irlanda puo’ parlare tranquillamente con Avril o con la propria famiglia qui in Irlanda.

Il costo e’ €600.00 a settimana. Questo prezzo comprende:

• Trasporto dal/all’ aeroporto
• Alloggio con pensione completa in una famiglia
• Un programma complete descritto in queste pagine: lezioni d’inglese, attivita’ per il pomerriggio e la sera e una gita per il giorno intero ogni sabato
• Materiale didattico
• Un certificato e una pagella alla fine del corso
